After Christmas...

I'm not going to be on as much..as the countdown begins once again...after being here two years i am on the move to lincolnshire in March...sooooo much to do in so very little time....house to repaint.....(sorry kids the wall murals have to go..)etccc....those who have served in the forces and have lived in married quarters know what i mean...house has to be spotless ..which reminds me...........i have a door to repair ..its a hollow door with a lovely hole in it..what is the best way to repair it so it looks good as new??

 

All good fun. :lol: time to stock up on magnolia paint and white gloss :P ;)

depends on how big the hole is in the door

 

might be quicker and cheaper to buy a new door from somewhere like wickes etc :P

i replaced a hollow door my brother kicked in.

 

its cheaper and easier to just buy a new door, and replace the old one.

right mum,this is what you do if you dont want to pay for a proper job,

fill the hole with expanding foam,let it set,get an old saw and GENTLE cut it back to just below the face of the door,then fill with tetron or any other filler sand down and repaint, job done .
